Our Pastor

Born and raised in Pensacola Fl, Jed Miller has a passionate heart to see his home community grow closer to God.  Jed attended Pensacola Christian Academy where he was given a good foundation in the Word as well as a top education through his high school career.  After graduating Jed went on to bounce around to different colleges until finishing up at University of West Florida with a degree in Psychology.  Always wanting to continually grow Jed is working on his master’s in divinity at Liberty University.

Jed came to a saving knowledge of Christ at the age of 11 on a youth ministry trip.  However, it wasn’t until 2006 at a student life camp that he would feel the call of God to full time ministry.  Since receiving the call Jed has done everything he can to grow not only in his knowledge of the scripture, but also in his skills for ministry.  He takes every opportunity to improve his speaking, knowledge, relationships, and ministry.

Jed has served in ministry since he first felt the call.  He took his first ministry position while still in school at Windy Hill Baptist Church where he served as the youth pastor for five years.  While there God blessed and took the youth group from 6 students to 25 students and was continuing to grow.  He left Windy Hill and went on to serve as the youth pastor of Heritage Baptist Church for another 5 years.  At heritage he had the opportunity to oversee not only the youth ministry but also the churches small group ministry; leading adults as well as students in the study of the Word.

Jed has been married to his beautiful bride Lydia for 6 years.  They have one beautiful daughter named Kezia, who is a year old.  Jed and Lydia are a loving couple who always desire to grow closer to each other and God, as well as, to raise their daughter and future children to do the same.  They are fully invested in the ministry of God and the growing of His church.

Kyle’s favorite verse is  I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.
